STZ ENTERPRISE LTD · CUSTOMER INFORMATION

Terms & Conditions

These terms explain how our home staging and interior styling advice services are arranged, what is included, and what you can expect when working with us.

Effective from publication on this website

01. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to enquiries about, and the arrangement and provision of, home staging and interior styling advice services offered by STZ ENTERPRISE LTD.

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean STZ ENTERPRISE LTD. “You” and “your” mean the person making an enquiry or receiving our services. “Services” means the advisory services specifically described and agreed with you.

These website terms should be read alongside the relevant service description and any appointment confirmation or written agreement we provide. If an agreed service-specific term conflicts with a general description on this website, we will clarify the position with you before proceeding.

A contract is formed when we have clearly agreed the service scope and relevant arrangements with you. Submitting an enquiry alone does not guarantee an appointment or create an obligation to provide a service.

02. Our services

We provide advice to help you consider the appearance, arrangement and presentation of rooms within a home. Depending on the service agreed, this may include:

  • Furniture placement and room layout suggestions.
  • Colour combinations, finishes and decorative styling ideas.
  • Suggestions concerning lighting, accessories and visual balance.
  • Practical priorities for presenting a room more clearly and cohesively.
  • Advice relating to one room or several rooms, where included in the agreed scope.

The precise content of your service depends on the option selected and the scope confirmed before the appointment.

Our services are advisory only. Unless expressly agreed in writing, we do not provide construction, renovation, installation, cleaning, furniture supply, professional photography, estate agency, property valuation or property marketing services.

We do not guarantee that styling advice will increase a property’s value, achieve a particular sale price, secure a buyer or result in a property selling within a particular period.

03. Service information and scope

Service descriptions on this website are intended to explain the general options available. The exact scope, appointment format, location, duration and any written materials included will be confirmed with you before the service is arranged.

Any stated starting price applies only to the relevant service’s specified minimum scope. The final agreed price may depend on factors such as the number of rooms, the amount of information to review and any additional work you request. We will explain any relevant difference before you agree to proceed.

A written plan, summary, checklist, product research or alternative design options are not automatically included unless the relevant service description or written confirmation expressly says so.

Where a request falls outside the agreed service, we may explain the limitation and, if appropriate, discuss a separate scope. We will not treat additional work as agreed merely because it has been suggested or discussed.

04. Enquiries and appointments

You can contact us using the details on our Contact Us page or submit an enquiry through the website form. We may contact you to clarify your requirements before confirming an appointment.

An appointment is confirmed only after we have agreed the service, the proposed date and time, the location or meeting arrangement, the scope and any applicable service terms.

Where a face-to-face consultation is agreed, we will confirm the meeting location and any practical arrangements in advance. Please do not assume that a location or time mentioned during an initial enquiry is final until it has been confirmed.

If we cannot accommodate your requested appointment, we will let you know and may discuss an alternative date or arrangement. We do not guarantee availability until an appointment has been confirmed.

05. Your responsibilities

To help us provide relevant and practical advice, you agree to provide information that is reasonably necessary for the agreed service. This may include:

  • Clear photographs of the relevant rooms, where requested.
  • Reasonably accurate room dimensions and details of fixed features.
  • Your preferences, intended use of the room and practical requirements.
  • An approximate budget where recommendations are expected to take budget into account.
  • Details of existing furniture or items you want to retain.

You are responsible for ensuring that information supplied to us is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are entitled to share any photographs or other materials you provide.

Please tell us about relevant restrictions, such as items that cannot be moved, access limitations or requirements that may affect the suitability of a suggestion. If essential information is missing, we may need to ask questions or revise the proposed timetable.

You remain responsible for deciding whether to implement any recommendation and for arranging any work or purchases independently, unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise.

06. Advice, deliverables and timing

Advice will be provided in the format agreed with you. This may involve discussion during a consultation and, only where expressly included, follow-up written notes, a styling plan or a checklist.

Any delivery target for written materials will be confirmed as part of the agreed service. If no written material is included, the consultation itself is the principal deliverable.

Where a delivery target has been agreed, it may depend on receiving the information reasonably required from you. If circumstances arise that are likely to affect the agreed timing, we will explain the issue and discuss a reasonable revised arrangement.

Our recommendations are based on the information available to us and the agreed advisory scope. They are not architectural drawings, structural assessments, building regulations advice, electrical or gas safety advice, or other specialist technical assessments.

You should consult an appropriately qualified professional where a decision involves structural alterations, building safety, electrical or gas work, fire safety, accessibility requirements or other matters requiring specialist assessment.

07. Changes and additional work

If you wish to change the agreed room count, add a room, request further consultation time or ask for additional written materials, please contact us before that work begins.

We will explain any effect on the scope, price and expected timing. Additional work will only proceed after you have agreed the revised arrangements.

If a requested change cannot reasonably be accommodated, we will explain the position and discuss the available options. Any cancellation or refund arising from a change will be handled in accordance with the agreed terms and applicable consumer law.

08. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds

If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible using the contact details below. We ask that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice where possible so that we can review the appointment arrangements.

The 48-hour notice request is intended to help with scheduling. It does not, by itself, remove any statutory cancellation right or automatically authorise a charge or deduction.

The applicable cancellation arrangements, including any legal cancellation period, requests for services to begin during that period and any refund due, are explained in our separate policies:

If we need to cancel or materially change a confirmed appointment, we will contact you to explain the situation and discuss a suitable alternative or any applicable refund.

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or restrict a cancellation right or refund entitlement that applies by law.

09. Prices and service arrangements

Any starting prices displayed on our website are for the stated minimum service scope and should be read with the corresponding service description. They are not a promise that every request can be completed at that price.

Before you agree to a service, we will confirm the applicable price and what it covers. If additional work is requested or the scope changes, we will explain any revised price before proceeding.

We do not provide goods as part of the standard advisory service. Suggestions about furniture, lighting, accessories or decorative items are recommendations only; you decide whether and where to obtain any such items.

No additional service or item will be treated as included merely because it is mentioned as an example during a consultation.

10. Consumer rights

If you are a consumer, applicable UK consumer protection law may give you rights in relation to the service, the information provided before the contract and the way the service is performed. These terms do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where a contract is made at a distance or away from our business premises, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 may provide a cancellation period, subject to the circumstances and applicable legal requirements.

If you ask us to begin a service during a statutory cancellation period, we will explain any relevant consequences and obtain any request or acknowledgement required by law. We will not assume that a statutory right has been waived simply because an appointment has been discussed or arranged.

Where you are acting for business purposes, some consumer-specific rights may not apply. Your statutory rights and the terms that apply to your particular agreement will depend on the circumstances.

11. Responsibility and limitations

Our role is to provide styling and presentation advice within the agreed scope. Recommendations are based on the information you provide, the agreed objectives and our understanding of your preferences.

Interior styling involves personal preference and practical considerations. We cannot guarantee that every recommendation will suit your tastes, fit every unreported constraint or produce a particular visual or commercial result.

You are responsible for checking dimensions, access, compatibility, product specifications, availability and suitability before purchasing items or arranging work. Where implementation involves technical or safety considerations, obtain advice from the appropriate professional.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Subject to the preceding paragraph and applicable law, we are not responsible for losses arising solely from decisions made by you or third parties when implementing recommendations beyond the agreed advisory service.

12. Intellectual property and use of materials

Any original written notes, plans or other materials we prepare for you remain subject to our intellectual property rights unless a different arrangement is agreed in writing.

Once the agreed service has been provided, you may use materials specifically prepared for you for your own personal, non-commercial use in relation to the relevant home.

You must not reproduce, resell, publish, distribute or commercially exploit our materials as a separate product without our prior written permission, except where applicable law permits otherwise.

You retain any rights you already hold in photographs and other materials you supply. You permit us to use those materials only as reasonably necessary to assess your requirements and provide the agreed service, subject to our Privacy Policy.

13. Personal information

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.

Information and photographs supplied for a consultation will be used to understand your requirements, prepare and deliver the agreed advice, communicate with you and maintain necessary business records.

Please avoid sending information that is not relevant to your enquiry or service. Further details about how information is collected, used, retained and protected are available in our Privacy Policy and, where relevant, our Cookie Policy.

14. Concerns and complaints

If you have a concern about our communication, appointment arrangements or the agreed service, please contact us and explain what happened and what outcome you are seeking.

We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and provide a substantive response within 15 working days. If we need more time to review a matter, we will explain the reason and provide an updated response timeframe.

Please refer to our Complaints Policy for the process and further details.

15. Applicable law

These terms and any non-contractual obligations arising in connection with them are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory legal protections that apply to you.

Where you are a consumer living in another part of the United Kingdom, nothing in this clause is intended to deprive you of any mandatory consumer protection available under applicable law.

Any dispute will be handled by the courts with jurisdiction under the applicable legal rules. Nothing in these terms prevents either party from seeking to resolve a concern through reasonable communication before taking further steps.
