Consultation Process & Deliverables
Service Delivery Policy
This policy explains how STZ ENTERPRISE LTD arranges home staging and interior styling consultations, confirms the agreed service, conducts appointments and provides any written materials included in the confirmed scope.
1. Service scope
STZ ENTERPRISE LTD provides advice relating to home staging, room presentation and interior styling. Depending on the service agreed, this may include furniture layout, colour coordination, decorative details, lighting considerations and practical suggestions for presenting a room.
The precise scope of each consultation is confirmed with the customer before the appointment. The service may be based on information supplied by the customer, photographs, room measurements, existing furnishings, preferences and an indicated budget.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, our service does not include purchasing or supplying furniture, sourcing and ordering products, installation, cleaning, renovation, building work, photography, property valuation, estate agency or property marketing services.
Important: Recommendations are advisory. The final choice of furnishings, layout, colours and any changes made to the property remain with the customer.
2. Booking and service confirmation
Customers should contact us to discuss their requirements and preferred appointment arrangements. Before a consultation is confirmed, we will clarify the relevant service, its intended scope and any information needed to prepare for the session.
Where applicable, the confirmation should identify:
- The room or rooms covered by the consultation.
- The consultation format, location and expected duration.
- The information or photographs the customer should provide.
- Whether any written summary, checklist or other document is included.
- The expected delivery date for any agreed written materials.
- Any agreed limitations, additional work or separate arrangements.
An item is not included simply because it is mentioned as a possible service on the website. The applicable scope is the scope specifically confirmed with the customer.
3. Preparing for a consultation
To help us provide relevant advice, customers may be asked to supply room photographs, approximate measurements, information about how the space is used, preferred styles, existing furniture details and a working budget.
Please provide information that is reasonably accurate and identify any important restrictions, such as furniture that must remain, access limitations or features that cannot be changed.
If essential information is missing, unclear or materially changes after the scope has been confirmed, we may need to discuss an adjusted appointment or revised delivery estimate with you.
4. How consultations are delivered
Consultations are arranged by appointment. The agreed confirmation will specify the format and location. Where an in-person consultation is agreed, the appointment details will be confirmed with the customer in advance.
During the consultation, we discuss the customer’s priorities and provide styling suggestions within the agreed scope. Advice may cover room arrangement, colour relationships, use of existing furnishings, decorative accents and practical presentation priorities.
The consultation is considered delivered when the agreed session has taken place and the advice included in that session has been provided. Any follow-up document is delivered separately if it forms part of the confirmed service.
We do not guarantee a particular aesthetic result, property sale price, sale date, rental outcome or change in property value. Results depend on the property, market conditions, customer choices and factors outside our control.
5. Written materials and delivery
Written plans, summaries, checklists or other documents are provided only where they are expressly included in the agreed service. They are not automatically included with every consultation.
If written materials are included, we will confirm their format and expected delivery date. Unless another format is agreed, documents will ordinarily be supplied electronically using the contact method agreed with the customer.
Written materials may summarise the recommendations discussed and outline practical priorities. They do not constitute architectural drawings, technical building specifications, structural advice, contractor instructions or a professional property valuation.
Customers should check any supplied document and contact us if a point appears unclear or inconsistent with the agreed scope.
6. Expected timescales and delays
Appointment availability and any written-material delivery date will be discussed and confirmed individually. The applicable timescale is the one agreed for the customer’s specific service.
Where a written deliverable is included, the delivery period will normally begin once the consultation has taken place and we have received the essential information reasonably required to complete that deliverable.
If an unexpected circumstance is likely to affect an agreed appointment or delivery date, we will contact the customer as soon as reasonably practicable, explain the issue and discuss a revised arrangement.
We will not treat a delay as automatically extending an agreed deadline indefinitely. Any revised delivery date should be communicated clearly. Statutory rights and remedies that apply to the service are not excluded by this policy.
7. Changes, additional work and follow-up
The agreed service covers only the rooms, consultation time and deliverables confirmed before the work begins.
Requests that may fall outside the original scope include:
- Adding rooms or additional areas of the property.
- Arranging further consultation sessions.
- Preparing a more detailed written plan or additional checklists.
- Conducting extensive product research or preparing multiple alternative schemes.
- Making substantial revisions to material already prepared in accordance with the agreed brief.
If additional work is requested, we will explain the proposed scope, any additional charge and the expected timescale before proceeding. No additional charge should be assumed to have been accepted without the customer’s agreement.
If a document does not reflect the agreed brief, please tell us what needs clarifying or correcting. We will review the concern against the original agreement. A request to change preferences or substantially expand the brief may be treated as additional work, subject to prior agreement.
8. Customer responsibilities
Customers can help the service proceed smoothly by:
- Providing accurate and relevant information about the property and rooms.
- Making the agreed appointment arrangements and being available at the confirmed time.
- Explaining their priorities, budget and any practical restrictions.
- Ensuring they have permission to share any photographs or property information supplied to us.
- Reviewing any agreed written materials and raising relevant questions within a reasonable period.
We may rely on the information supplied when preparing recommendations. We are not responsible for inaccuracies in customer-provided information that could not reasonably have been identified during the consultation.
Customers are responsible for deciding whether and how to implement recommendations. Before carrying out physical alterations or work affecting safety, structure, electrical systems or other regulated matters, customers should obtain advice from an appropriately qualified professional where necessary.
